Madhubani style is one of the traditional forms of Indian folk art practiced by women from the Madhubani district of IndiTraditionally, the subject matters for the paintings are Hindu gods and goddesses, nature, and weddings. a. The style is known for its two-dimensional imagery, colorful compositions, and no negative space. Negative space is usually filled in with elements of nature.

The signature components of this style offer me a vivid color palette and serene background to portray my subjects.

Painting is created on 10" x 10" handmade paper. It is custom framed in a black wooden frame with acid-free matt -off-white, black, and gold.
