My recent trip to the local zoo with my kids inspired the painting "Flamingos."
Style Description: Painting is done using the decorative style of Indian folk art - Kalamkari. Style is known for its intricate designs and minimal color palette: white is exposed paper, the painting is drawn with black paint, and only one other color, red, is used to evoke the painting. I find this style very challenging. It is primarily used for textile designing. Decorative elements of Kalamkari help me transport my landscapes to the fantasy world.
The signature components of this style offer me a vivid color palette and serene background to portray my subjects. The painting is custom framed in an elegant black wooden frame and has double matted with off-white and black matt. The fine details in the painting are achieved with 000 brushes.
