Painting Heron is done using decorative style of Indian folk art-Kalamkari. Style is originated in Andhra Pradesh, India. Style is known for its intricacy details and limited color palette: white being exposed paper, painting is drawn with black paint and only one other color than red is used to narrate the story. I find this style very challenging. Decorative elements of Kalamkari help me transport my landscapes to the fantasy world.
